Spiced Nuts
taste good, are easy to make, and are nutritional. Spiced nuts can be used as a healthy snack throughout the day. There are multiple recipes that include nuts or alternative methods for spice nuts. We will cover cinnamon spiced nuts below.
Prepare
- 2 Bowls
- Cinnamon
- Egg, salt, and sugar
- Pecans
- Baking sheet
- Waxed paper

* In a small bowl, combine the sugar, cinnamon and salt; set aside. In a large bowl, lightly beat egg white. Add pecans; stir until coated. Sprinkle with sugar mixture; mix well
Recipe
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 large egg white
- 1lb of large pecan halves
Cook Time
*Spread ingredients on baking sheet. Bake at 300° for 20 minutes. Remove nuts from baking sheet and let cool on waxed paper.
