They are quick and easy to make and can be stored for a later snake. These cookies are also a nutritional source of protein which will help seniors maintain muscle mass.

Prep

  • Banana 
  • Oat meal 
  • Baking Sheet
  • Parchment paper
  • Honey 
  • Peanut Butter
  • Raisins, chocolate chips, etc... (optional)
  • Mixing bowl 
  • Ice cream scooper

Recipe

  • 2 Bananas mushed down
  • 2 Cups of oat meal 
  • 1/2 Cup of peanut butter
  • 1 Tablespoon of honey 
  • 1 handful of raisins or chocolate chips
  • Mix all ingredients together
  • Scoop onto parchment paper/baking pan and Bake

Bake

  • Place in oven and bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes 
  • Take out of oven to let cool. Then serve
